Remote Transportation Coordinator (6-Month Contract) – Support the EAST Region

**Location:** _Remote – Must reside near St. Louis, MO_

Are you a logistics-savvy professional with a passion for keeping things moving? Join our dynamic team as a **Remote Transportation Coordinator** and play a key role in ensuring timely delivery of products across the supply chain. This is a **6-month contract** covering a medical leave, with potential for extension.

• What You’ll Do:

+ Track and manage inbound/outbound loads to ensure on-time delivery.

+ Collaborate with supply chain teams, carriers, distribution centers, and production plants.

+ Monitor shipments using FourKites and update systems with delivery status and reason codes.

+ Schedule freight in line with customer delivery demands and product availability.

+ Support the Transportation Manager with reporting and performance metrics.

+ Build strong relationships with carriers and customers through professional communication.

+ Manage exceptions, accessorials, and customer returns.

• Key Responsibilities:

+ Daily load tracking and follow-ups

+ Carrier and customer relationship management

+ Appointment scheduling and load tendering

+ EDI error resolution and system updates

+ On-time performance and fill rate analysis

• What You Bring:

+ **2+ years** of customer service experience in manufacturing or transportation

+ High School Diploma (college education preferred)

+ Strong multitasking and communication skills

+ Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and web-based systems

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Bonus Points For:

+ Transportation/logistics experience

+ Tactical office experience

+ Analytical thinking and decision-making skills

• Additional Info:

+ This role is **fully remote** but requires proximity to one of the listed locations for training.

+ Occasional travel may be required.

+ You’ll support the **EAST region** and work closely with internal and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
