Our client, Fastener manufacturer is seeking a Materials coordinator to join their team. As a Materials coordinator, you will be part of the management team supporting the production department. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficient with computer programs and strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Materials Coordinator
Pay Range: $25/hr-$30/hr based on experience
What’s the Job?
+ Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments based on production and shipping schedules.
+ SAP experience a must
+ Requisition materials and establish delivery dates according to job priorities and availability.
+ Verify material conformance to specifications upon delivery.
+ Arrange in-plant transfers to meet production schedules.
+ Maintain manual or computerized records of inventory, production status, and material locations.
What’s Needed?
+ Familiarity with manufacturing processes and product specifications.
+ Experience with MRP systems and warehouse management systems.
+ Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
+ Knowledge of supply chain principles and warehouse safety protocols.
+ High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
