    A reputable organization in Milroy, PA is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join their team. This position requires deep knowledge of logistics functions, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel to streamline processes and drive efficiency in operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision and a focus on continuous improvement.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order processing.

    + Maintain detailed and accurate records for all logistical activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with company policies.

    + Utilize Excel and other software platforms to track, analyze, and optimize logistics workflows.

    + Develop and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce operational costs.

    + Collaborate with vendors, transportation companies, and internal departments to resolve issues and ensure the timely delivery of goods.

    + Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations, generating detailed reports as needed.

    + Regularly review logistics processes for inefficiencies and implement solutions to maximize productivity.

    + Ensure all documentation (including invoices, shipping manifests, and compliance records) is accurately completed and filed systematically.

    Requirements

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or a related industry.

    + Proven track record of using Excel and other tools to optimize processes and workloads efficiently.

    + Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping coordination.

    + High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.

    Skills and Competencies:

    + Strong knowledge of logistics processes and best practices, with hands-on experience in coordinating multiple operational aspects.

    + Advanced efficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, and creating workflow enhancements), as well as familiarity with logistics software systems.

    + Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy.

    + Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.

    + Proactive problem-solver with a mindset for streamlining processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.

    + Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders effectively.
