The ideal candidate will have experience in intelligence analysis, critical incident management, commercial aviation, or drone operations. You'll manage end-to-end coordination during large-scale events, security incidents, and air carrier escalations. You'll also produce and share tactical and strategic intelligence with our Aviation Security teams, Amazon Air leadership, Prime Air leadership, and our contracted aircraft operators to enable operations in new locations or during volatile conditions.
This position requires shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You must be able to make sound decisions under pressure and handle sensitive threat information appropriately.
If you're ready to play a key role in safeguarding Amazon's expanding aviation network, we want to hear from you.
Key job responsibilities
You will be part of the ASCC team providing 24/7 security coverage for Amazon's global aviation operations. In this role, you must:

- Connect new intelligence with ongoing investigations
- Travel occasionally (less than 10% after training)
The ideal candidate has proven experience working in an operations center environment. You'll work independently during your shifts, analyzing data and solving problems on your own. At the same time, you must excel at teamwork, ensuring smooth handovers between shifts. The ability to balance autonomous decision-making with effective team communication is crucial in this role.
Eligibility Qualifications:
Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you must:
- Pass DHS, TSA and U.S. Customs and Border Protection security screenings
- Qualify for unescorted Airport SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) access
- Have no history of DOT drug/alcohol violations or test refusals

A day in the life
As an ASCC Manager, you'll be the go-to person for global aviation security. Your day revolves around managing incidents that could affect our operations, people, or brand.
You'll start by reviewing incoming reports from the field. When an issue arises, you'll gather details, coordinate support, and create a situation report for leadership. You may need to facilitate meetings to ensure all relevant teams are involved and aligned.
Between incidents, you'll monitor open-source intelligence for potential aviation/drone related threats. You'll develop assessment products to support security decisions across our aviation network. This could involve analyzing regional threat trends or evaluating risks for new locations.
Throughout your shift, you'll work closely with the global and regional risk and resilience teams to maintain consistent reporting and response protocols.
Your role also extends to strategic initiatives. You might develop new standard operating procedures, create assessment frameworks, or design reporting mechanisms to enhance our security capabilities.
