    Description

    We are seeking an experienced professional to lead strategic business operations, drive organizational excellence initiatives, and provide thought partnership on critical priorities for our leadership team. This role will embed operational excellence standards, manage business planning processes, and partner with leadership to execute strategic initiatives. Strategic initiatives will require executive presence and stakeholder management with VP level business and HR leaders. The ideal candidate has strong operational knowledge, communication skills (written/verbal), and is a master at simplifying complexity.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Own organizational annual planning processes (SPS/OP1), ensuring clarity and actionability.

    • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for organizational excellence, stakeholder management, and strategic work streams.

    • Write business review documentation for Director, VP, and SVP audiences.

    • Develop and maintain operational planning templates and processes.

    • Partner with organizational leaders to document strategic goals and operational metrics.

    • Manage documentation governance and best practices across the organization.

    • Manage forecasting/budgeting processes for the organization.

    • End to end ownership of a strategic initiative that spans all programs in the global L&D portfolio and enables scale/optimization for the company

    GOLD Exec Dev leads development of leaders across WWOps through High Potential programming, Upskilling solutions, and products that scale talent development/advocacy efforts.     Basic Qualifications

    • 5+ years experience in program management, strategic planning, or related roles

    • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional programs

    • Expert understanding of HR operations, talent management, and/or organizational learning & development

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA or advanced degree in HR, I/O Psych, or organizational development

    • Proven success in developing and implementing strategic roadmaps and planning processes

    • Experience with Amazon planning processes and documentation standards preferred

    • Experience with translating business concepts into roadmaps and requirement documents for data/tech teams.

    • Experience influencing senior leadership through clear, concise communication (both written and verbal)

    • Excellence in business acumen

    • Analytical and process management skills

    • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex operational concepts

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
