    Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an exceptionally bright, strong multi-tasker and self-motivated individual to support Director-level business leaders within AWS Industries (AWSI) - Energy and Utilities. This role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, superior organizational skills, and the ability to juggle many critical deadlines. A high level of integrity and discretion required in handling confidential information. Consistent professionalism in dealing with senior professionals both internally and externally is important, as is a good sense of humor. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without knowing the total picture.

    Basic Qualifications:

    - 5+ years work experience in a fast-paced, administrative capacity

     

    - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

     

    - Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

     

    - Detailed planning, time management and organizational skills

    Key job responsibilities

    • Effectively and proactively support multiple leaders including complex calendar management and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations.

    • Coordinate global schedules and travel arrangements (cost effective air, hotel, and ground transportation and creating detailed travel itineraries), seamless meeting logistics, such as video conference and conference calls for internal and external meetings.

    • Expense reimbursement including report coordination, submission and issue tracking.

    • Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner.

    • Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-team meetings, off-sites, and team social events).

    • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items (including meeting notes and action items) from LT and team meetings.

    • Collaborate with leadership team and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization.

    • Document / presentation creation, editing, and readiness.

    • Contribute to a global administrative support team - think and plan ahead, delegate responsibilities appropriately, and manage time effectively.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 5+ years of senior level leadership support experience

     

    - Experience with domestic or international travel coordination

     

    - Experience handling administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 7+ years of senior level leadership support experience

     

    - Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

     

    - Experience leading process improvements

     

    - Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
