• Windows 11 Migration Specialist

    Description

    We are seeking a skilled Windows 11 Migration Specialist to lead and support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of Windows 11 upgrade projects across our organization.

     

    + Plan, coordinate, and execute the migration of end-user devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

    + Conduct assessments of existing hardware and software to determine compatibility with Windows 11.

    + Create and maintain Windows 11 images using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Microsoft Intune, or MDT.

    + Perform pilot testing and rollout strategies to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

    + Automate deployment processes using PowerShell scripting and deployment tools.

    + Resolve technical issues related to hardware, drivers, applications, and user profiles during the migration.

    + Provide end-user support during and post-migration, including documentation and training as needed.

    + Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure the new OS meets organizational policies.

    + Monitor and report on migration progress and provide status updates to project stakeholders.

    + Maintain post-migration support and address any performance or compatibility issues.

    Requirements

    + Proven experience with Windows desktop operating systems, especially Windows 10 and 11.

    + Strong understanding of OS deployment tools (SCCM/MECM, Intune, Autopilot, MDT).

    + Experience with Group Policy, Active Directory, and endpoint management.

    + Proficient in scripting (PowerShell) for automation tasks.

    + Experience in large-scale IT migration or upgrade projects.

    + Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
