Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Lender - Support team member to join our team in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This role is a contract-to-opportunity position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth within the organization. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of commercial loan documentation, as well as coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth loan closings.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review pre-closing documentation for commercial loans, including construction and permanent real estate loans.

• Organize loan files and ensure the accuracy and completeness of closing documents, meeting all compliance requirements and conditions.

• Perform loan setup tasks such as completing load sheets, calculating escrow and reserve amounts, preparing general ledger entries, and initiating wire transfers.

• Collaborate with attorneys, Relationship Managers, and other professionals to schedule and manage timely loan closings.

• Establish loan files in accordance with departmental procedures, coordinating closing responsibilities with the Loan Administrator.

• Process post-closing documents and reports for integration into the bank’s systems.

• Maintain reference procedures to regulate loan closings, modifications, and conversions.

• Address daily department responsibilities, including resolving customer inquiries and issues.

• Generate and manage department reports, such as pipeline and closing reports, while verifying compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Review mortgage discharges for accuracy and ensure all related duties are completed efficiently. Requirements • Proven experience in loan administration, with a focus on commercial lending and mortgage processing.

• Strong knowledge of mortgage closing procedures and loan origination processes.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in reviewing financial documentation.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, Relationship Managers, and other stakeholders.

• Proficiency in calculating escrow, reserves, and prepaid interest for loan setups.

• Familiarity with compliance requirements, including the Patriot Act and other banking regulations.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.

• Experience with generating and managing department reports, including pipeline and closing reports.
