    Description

    Are you a detail-oriented and results-driven professional with expertise in managing invoices and payments? Robert Half is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join one of our client's financial teams. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely payment collection, accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Create and send invoices to customers, ensuring timely and accurate billing.

    + Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with customers on overdue accounts.

    + Reconcile customer accounts, investigate payment discrepancies, and resolve billing disputes.

    + Process and post customer payments, ensuring proper allocation to invoices.

    + Prepare detailed accounts receivable reports and summaries for management.

    + Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Customer Service, to address billing-related concerns.

    + Assist with month-end closing processes by reconciling AR accounts and generating financial data.

    Requirements

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).

    + 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar financial role.

    + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

    + Strong communication and negotiation skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
