    Description

    Key responsibilities for this position include:

    • This role will need to work collaboratively with a peer (Import Analyst) and across functional departments that will be aiding in covering the responsibilities of the Demand Planning & Warehousing Supervisor

    • Support in coordinating the forecast process in the U.S., working with Field Sales, Warehouse/Inventory manager and Finance to give Italian producer visibility into the demand needs to secure production and inventory to satisfy customer needs and lead-time (USA).

    • Collaborate with counterparts and Italian colleagues to place orders from Italy and working with Italian parent company to ensure production timing is acceptable, finished goods arrive in U.S. on-time and own two-way communication in the event adjustments need to be made to orders.

    • Act as the point of contact to manage third party warehouse, communicate order specifications, delivery date, handling requirements and scheduling.

    • This individual will need to support the business unit and work cross functionally with Sales, Finance and Customer Service teams to achieve inventory expectations (Days of Supply, Aging Inventory and Converting), product availability, warehouse rotation (FIFO) and reconciliation.

    Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelors in related field or 3-5+ years of experience required

    • Project management experience a plus

    Requirements

    Skills / Abilities

    • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications (especially Excel)

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

    • Excellent teamwork skills, showing enthusiasm to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

    • Experience with ERP systems are a plus

    • Language skills: Spanish and/or Italian a plus
