Description

We are looking for an experienced financial leader to take on the role of a Finance Manager for a manufacturing company in Haverhill, Massachusetts. This position involves overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance, while providing strategic insights to support business growth. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach to leadership and demonstrate expertise in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to ensure financial stability and growth.

• Analyze operational performance and present actionable financial insights to senior leadership.

• Establish and enforce internal controls, ensuring compliance with audits and safeguarding company assets.

• Manage credit, collections, and inventory processes, along with capital expenditure planning.

• Collaborate with other departments to guide pricing strategies, cost control measures, and financial planning.

• Lead and mentor a team encompassing accounting, cost management, budgeting, and IT functions.

• Develop and implement succession planning initiatives, training programs, and performance evaluations.

• Ensure adherence to company policies while fostering clear and effective communication across teams.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller role.

• Proven expertise in financial management within manufacturing environments.

• Proficiency in financial systems, reporting tools, and data analysis.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team development and communication skills.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

• Familiarity with budgeting processes, month-end close activities, and cash flow forecasting.
