    Description

    Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience managing financial transactions and vendor relationships? Robert Half is seeking a highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to support one of our clients. In this role, you will handle critical responsibilities to ensure smooth financial operations while leveraging your skills in payment processing and reconciliation.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process invoices, ensuring all payments are accurate, approved, and coded correctly to the general ledger.

    + Track and reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

    + Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounts payable processes.

    + Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, purchasing teams) to resolve payment issues and maintain strong relationships.

    + Prepare accounts payable reports, including aging reports, for management review.

    + Assist with month-end closing tasks, ensuring accounts payable transactions are recorded accurately.

    + Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline the accounts payable function.

    Requirements

    + Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).

    + 2+ years of accounts payable or related experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.

    + Proficiency in accounts payable software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP knowledge is a plus).

    + Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
