Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Grant and Loan Specialist to join our client in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This Contract-to-permanent position involves managing grant and loan processes, sourcing funding opportunities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing applications, tracking timelines, and maintaining accurate reporting for funding activities.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and lead grant work group meetings and monthly discussions to align on funding priorities.
• Manage the full lifecycle of grant and loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is timely and complete.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure the submission of necessary reports and forms to meet funding requirements.
• Oversee multiple funding streams, allocations, and compliance with all post-award agreements.
• Act as the primary liaison between the organization, funding agencies, and external specialists assisting with grant and loan processes.
• Research and identify local, state, and federal funding opportunities to support organizational goals.
• Prepare accurate financial reports related to grant and loan activities for leadership and governance committees.
• Assist the Finance Team in audits, long-term funding strategies, and budget planning to incorporate grant and loan impacts.
• Organize and participate in workshops, conferences, and meetings to stay informed of new funding opportunities.
Requirements • Proven experience in grant writing, administration, and management.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and foundation grants.
• Familiarity with credit risk management and financial accountability processes.
• Ability to manage multiple funding sources and allocations simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate interdepartmental efforts.
• Proficiency in preparing financial reports and reconciling grant and loan proceeds.
• Experience with compliance monitoring for grants and loans.
• Capability to research funding opportunities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant programs.
