Description

We are partnered with a great company looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Ft. Worth, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing full-cycle AP processes for assigned locations. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in accounting operations and ERP systems within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including matching, batching, coding, and auditing invoices.

• Utilize Oracle and other ERP systems to maintain financial data integrity and streamline accounting operations.

• Collaborate with plant managers to address discrepancies and resolve payment issues.

• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Prepare accurate financial reports related to AP processes.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within accounting workflows.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities as needed.

• Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams regarding AP matters

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable unctions.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms, such as Oracle.

• Strong knowledge of account coding and auditing principles.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

• Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

• Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities efficiently.
