Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster – NY Jurisdiction (Remote)

Compensation: $35+/hour on contract
Overview:
Robert Half is seeking Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters with New York jurisdictional experience and an active NY SIP license to manage claims with empathy, precision, and professionalism. This is a fully remote opportunity to work with a collaborative and resilient team that values innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze and manage workers’ compensation claims from inception to resolution
+ Develop strategic plans for claims handling, including litigation management
+ Communicate effectively with claimants, clients, medical providers, and legal professionals
+ Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies
+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation throughout the claims process
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Required:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum 3 years of workers’ compensation claims experience
+ Active NY Self-Insurance Plan (SIP) license
+ Strong knowledge of New York workers’ compensation laws and procedures
+ Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite
+ Preferred:
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Experience working in a third-party administrator (TPA) environment
