Description

Transactional attorney needed for a dynamic in-house legal role located downtown Chicago. Our leading financial services company is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our legal team and contribute to complex contract negotiations, compliance management, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide advanced legal guidance on corporate transactions, including underwriting agreements, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives. Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms with an emphasis on risk mitigation and compliance.

+ Oversee the lifecycle of high-value contracts, including drafting, negotiating, implementing, and maintaining agreements. Establish best practices and standard operating procedures.

+ Leverage data-driven tools to provide insights and support decision-making processes in underwriting agreements, legal forecasting, and risk assessment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

+ Active IL bar membership.

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in transactional law.
