    Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing billing processes, collections, and account reconciliation tasks while collaborating in a fast-paced, onsite setting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and cash applications.

    • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.

    • Manage commercial collections and maintain communication with clients to resolve outstanding balances.

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

    • Process cash applications efficiently to update customer accounts.

    • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and collections efforts.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and streamline processes.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all accounts receivable activities.

    • Provide timely updates on collection statuses and escalate issues as necessary.

    • Support month-end close activities related to accounts receivable. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and collections.

    • Proficiency in account reconciliation and cash applications.

    • Strong knowledge of commercial collections practices.

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    • Ability to work onsite in Tampa, Florida, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    • Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
