Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This onsite position is integral to managing payment workflows, ensuring vendor compliance, and collaborating with procurement teams to maintain operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment execution.

• Collaborate with procurement and department leaders to oversee purchase orders, verify deliveries, and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate vendor profiles and ensure compliance during the onboarding process.

• Schedule and execute weekly payment batches while monitoring aged accounts payable reports.

• Support month-end closing tasks by preparing accounts payable accruals and reconciliations.

• Assist in enhancing processes and maintaining compliance with internal purchasing and accounts payable policies.

• Provide inventory coordination, including monitoring stock levels and addressing shortages.

• Perform additional administrative and financial duties as required. Requirements • Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; candidates with significant experience may also be considered.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or procurement coordination, preferably in startup or manufacturing environments.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with tools like Bill.com for payment processing.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a team-focused approach.
