Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Chesterfield, Missouri, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the accuracy and proper coding of vendor invoices while maintaining high productivity standards in a fast-paced environment. This is an onsite position ideal for professionals with a solid background in accounts payable and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Review and validate large volumes of vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies, including pricing errors, missing information, or incorrect charges.

• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address invoice-related concerns efficiently.

• Ensure all invoices are accurately coded and entered into the accounting system.

• Maintain adherence to accounting standards and organizational policies during invoice processing.

• Achieve daily productivity and accuracy targets while meeting strict deadlines.

• Provide support with auditing tasks related to accounts payable processes.

• Track outstanding invoices and ensure timely resolution of any issues.

• Assist in improving invoice review procedures to enhance overall efficiency. Requirements • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and invoice lifecycles.

• Proven experience handling high volumes of invoice reviews or processing.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills for working with vendors and internal teams.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms.

• Ability to meet daily volume expectations in a fast-paced work environment.

• Availability to work onsite during standard business hours.

• Solid organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
