Description

We are looking for an experienced (around 4-5+ yrs) Personal Injury Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team in FiDi, New York. This temporary position with a possibility of permanent offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced litigation practice while utilizing your expertise in drafting legal documents and supporting case preparation. If you are detail-oriented and have a strong background in personal injury litigation (Fluency in Spanish is a plus), we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Draft summons, complaints, and other legal documents based on provided templates.

• Prepare interrogatories and other discovery materials to support litigation processes.

• Conduct thorough research on case law and legal precedents to assist attorneys.

• Manage case files and maintain organized records of all proceedings.

• Collaborate closely with attorneys to prepare for hearings, trials, and depositions.

• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of all required documentation.

• Assist in drafting correspondence and client updates related to ongoing cases.

• Support the team in administrative tasks related to case management and litigation.

Requirements

• 4-5 yrs of proven experience as a paralegal in personal injury litigation.

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents such as summons, complaints, and interrogatories.

• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken, is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to conduct legal research and analyze case-related information.

• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.

• Familiarity with legal procedures and deadlines in litigation.

• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification is preferred.
