    Description

    We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Jack of All Trades (JOAT)/Telecom Engineer to dedicate their expertise to two critical projects, in the Houston area. This role requires a professional with hands-on experience in RingCentral who can quickly adapt and contribute to the success of the projects. The position focuses primarily on gathering and managing data, as well as performing key technical telecommunication tasks such as building dial and routing plans, replicating settings, and Active Directory (AD) and Office 365 tasks. Some onsite work may be needed to assess and rebuild clients' AD environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    RingCentral and Meraki Support:

    + Data Gathering (85%): Collect, analyze, and manage data necessary for project implementation, including user information, settings, and configurations.

    + Technical Implementation (15%):

    + Build and configure dial plans and routing plans to optimize telecommunications systems.

    + Review and replicate telecommunications settings from one environment to another quickly and accurately.

    Active Directory and Office 365 Tasks:

    + Conduct onsite assessments of clients’ Active Directory environments.

    + Map and rebuild AD structures accurately within client systems.

    + Ensure seamless integration of Office 365 services in conjunction with telecom solutions.

    Collaboration and Project Ownership:

    + Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise to ensure smooth deployment.

    + Maintain clear documentation of progress, settings, and processes for record-keeping and future reference.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Experience with RingCentral: Must have a solid understanding of RingCentral platform features, configurations, and telecommunication workflows.

    + Technical Abilities: Proficiency in building dial plans, routing designs, and replicating configurations between systems.

    + Exposure to Meraki setups and configuration is a strong plus.

    + Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) and Office 365 environments, with experience in onsite assessment and restructuring.

    + Ability to gather and interpret project-related data while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

    Additional Skills:

    + Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.

    + Excellent communication skills for interactions with clients and internal teams.

    + Organizational skills to manage and prioritize complex datasets and configurations.

    + Flexibility to handle both onsite and remote work as project demands.

    Preferred Background:

    + Previous Telecom Engineering or IT Project Management experience.

    + Knowledge of telecommunications systems and enterprise networking.

    + Experience with Meraki network systems, though not mandatory, will be an added advantage.
