Description

We are looking for experienced Paralegals to join a thriving plaintiff personal injury law firm in New York, New York. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced legal environment, supporting attorneys with key aspects of case management and litigation. Candidates should bring strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence in legal support. Spanish bilingual highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a high-volume caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines and client needs are met.

• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.

• Conduct E-filing processes accurately and in compliance with court requirements.

• Utilize case management software to organize and track case details and progress.

• Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including document review and assembling trial binders.

• Coordinate and manage discovery processes, including gathering and organizing relevant documents.

• Provide support during civil litigation tasks, including scheduling depositions and preparing exhibits.

• Maintain strong communication with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.

• Ensure all legal documents and case files are maintained with precision and confidentiality.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law.

• Proficiency in case management software and E-filing systems, specifically NYSCEF.

• Spanish bilingual strongly preferred.

• Experience managing discovery processes and preparing related documentation.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
