Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Tempe, Arizona, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations while maintaining accurate records and supporting day-to-day accounting tasks. Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions promptly and efficiently.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements.

• Maintain and update QuickBooks records, ensuring proper categorization and documentation of transactions.

• Generate financial reports to support decision-making and provide insights into company performance.

• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounts to maintain consistency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Respond to inquiries related to financial data and provide support during audits or reviews. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a solid understanding of accounting principles.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software and familiarity with its features and functionalities.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Experience performing bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to analyze financial data and generate clear reports.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with general ledger and financial statement preparation.
