    Description

    Our client in West Mifflin is looking for a receptionist who will provide high level of customer service and communication face-to-face, via telephone, and email with internal and external stakeholders. It is a contract to hire role, pay is $18 - $19 hourly, dependent on experience, it is fully onsite, 7:30am - 4pm. Start date will be mid-August, and background check and clearances are required.

    Job Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred

    • Minimum 3 years administrative support experience in a school setting preferred

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and

    coordinate actions with leadership team, clients and third party, vendors/contractors

    • Ability to perform multiple assignments without immediate supervision

    • Time management and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

    • Strong organizational skills

    • Able to perform basic arithmetic and use basic numeric concepts to perform job tasks

    • Commitment to problem solving, persistence, and innovation

    Requirements

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Answer telephone calls in a pleasant, informed manner, field and direct incoming phone

     

    calls to appropriate staff members.

     

    • Greet incoming staff and visitors respectfully and professionally.

     

    direct and escort visitors; sign visitors in and create visitor badge using visitor

     

    management system.

     

    • Manage receiving of items ordered.

    • Operate standard office equipment to include fax machine, copier, postage machine, and

     

    other equipment: manage service calls and communicate with staff when equipment is

     

    malfunctioning; troubleshoot minor problems with office equipment, such as paper jams

     

    and changing ink cartridges.

     

    • Receive guests in the Front Office for special events as needed.

    • Attend meetings as needed, including staff meetings and departmental meetings.

    • Schedule tours for prospective clients

    • Other duties as assigned
