Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Corona, California. In this role, you will manage essential financial tasks such as invoicing, cash applications, and collections while ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices and customer account statements in a timely manner.

• Apply cash payments, including wires and checks, to appropriate accounts.

• Conduct collection calls and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments.

• Monitor aging accounts and develop strategies for resolving outstanding balances.

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing billing inquiries and account discrepancies.

• Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Utilize Sage 100 software to manage accounts receivable processes efficiently.

• Generate detailed reports on accounts receivable status and performance.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment or invoicing issues.

• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.

• Proficiency in commercial collections and cash applications.

• Strong knowledge of billing functions and managing aging accounts.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.

• Familiarity with Sage 100 or similar accounting software.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
