    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated part-time File Clerk to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will work within a spacious filing room equipped with rows of filing cabinets, ensuring the organization and accessibility of critical documents. This is a long-term contract position offering a structured environment and opportunities for hands-on training. This is a physical and on-your-feet position, grabbing and lifting stacks of files.

    There are two shifts available:

    M-F - 7:30am to 11:30am

     

    M-F - 11am to 3pm

    Responsibilities:

    • Organize and maintain paper files in a systematic and accessible manner.

    • Retrieve and file documents as requested by team members or management.

    • Ensure all filing cabinets are properly labeled and categorized for efficient access.

    • Perform clerical duties such as sorting, scanning, and photocopying documents.

    • Collaborate with employees to learn and adhere to filing processes and procedures.

    • Lift and transport stacks of files and papers safely and efficiently.

    • Keep the filing area clean and orderly to maintain a productive workspace.

    Requirements

    • Ability to lift and handle stacks of files and reach the top of filing cabinets.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Experience with clerical duties, including correspondence and document handling.

    • Collaborating with team members.

    • Previous experience with filing systems or document management is preferred
