Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic accounting department by ensuring timely and accurate management of vendor payments and financial obligations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with basic accounting practices.

Responsibilities:

• Process and code a high volume of vendor invoices with precision and efficiency.

• Verify and match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure proper documentation and approvals.

• Maintain and reconcile the accounts payable ledger, including vendor statements.

• Address vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies to ensure smooth payment operations.

• Conduct weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers in accordance with company procedures.

• Uphold compliance with internal controls and organizational policies throughout the accounts payable process.

• Prepare accounts payable aging reports and assist with month-end closing activities.

• Contribute to audits and support special projects within the finance team as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

• Proficiency in coding invoices and managing account coding processes.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs.

• Experience working with accounting software, such as QuickBooks.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data.

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
