Description We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR Manager and ensuring the smooth execution of employee relocations and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with the HR Manager to oversee and manage employee relocation processes.
• Gather necessary documentation of employees' primary residences and upload data into appropriate systems.
• Facilitate employee transfers by collecting transfer details and notifying relevant departments.
• Coordinate with payroll and accounting teams to verify the application of accurate labor rates.
• Assist employees in setting up services with relocation companies to ensure seamless transitions.
• Work with payroll to confirm proper taxation procedures for relocated employees.
• Utilize HR systems such as Workday and other tools to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.
• Address employee concerns and provide guidance related to relocation policies and procedures.
• Perform additional administrative tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain proficiency in Office Suite and other HR-related software. Requirements • Proven experience in Human Resources administration or a related field.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as Workday, and proficiency in Office Suite tools.
• Strong understanding of employee relations and relocation procedures.
• Knowledge of payroll processes, including labor rate verification and taxation.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills to coordinate effectively with various departments.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required.
