As an Accounting Clerk your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Process incoming checks accurately and promptly, ensuring proper documentation.
• Reconcile customer accounts and address any payment discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
• Update and manage accounts receivable data using spreadsheets and internal systems.
• Assist in preparing month-end financial reports and supporting audit activities.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline billing and invoice processing workflows.
• Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced functions, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Support general accounting functions as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
The ideal Accounting Clerk candidate will have:
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features like formulas and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized financial records.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address payment discrepancies effectively.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial data securely and with discretion.
• Experience in billing, invoice processing, and account reconciliation processes.
