Description
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in Auburn, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing our organization's network infrastructure to ensure seamless performance and security. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to collaborate with IT leadership and make a substantial impact on the reliability of our systems.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and monitor data center network operations to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
• Configure, implement, and upgrade routers, firewalls, switches, and access points, including Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, Meraki, and F5 devices.
• Assess, select, and maintain security tools and technologies to safeguard the network.
• Perform regular patching and upgrades to address vulnerabilities and enhance system security.
• Develop and update comprehensive IT documentation, including network and security protocols.
• Conduct routine maintenance and health checks on network systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Create and present weekly reports detailing system performance and utilization.
• Optimize system capacity and fine-tune performance to align with organizational needs.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely responses to network emergencies outside regular hours.

Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
• Proficiency with Cisco networking equipment, including routers, ASA, Nexus, and Catalyst switches.
• Hands-on experience with F5 Networks and Meraki Access Points.
• Strong knowledge of LAN and WLAN technologies.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure and network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark.
• Expertise in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues using administrative consoles.
