    Description

    Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with experience in payroll processing? Robert Half is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to support one of our clients with their payroll operations. In this critical position, you will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, overtime, and deductions.

    + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and company policies.

    + Update employee records in the payroll system as needed, including entering new hires, terminations, and changes.

    + Manage payroll tax filings and payments, including preparation of W-2 and other required forms.

    + Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

    + Collaborate with HR and other departments for accurate tracking of benefits, bonuses, and other payroll-related items.

    + Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, tax forms, and other payroll matters.

    Requirements

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.

    + 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in multi-state or complex environments.

    + Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.

    + Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

    + Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is highly desirable.
