Our client, a well established and growing manufacturing organization, is looking for a dedicated Site Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy of accounting processes. This role is ideal for someone who excels at managing complex financial systems and delivering strategic insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Oversee annual physical inventory counts and ensure proper inventory accounting procedures.

• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including ledger reconciliations, to maintain financial integrity.

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Generate comprehensive financial statements and reports, providing insights into company performance.

• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.

• Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.

• Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) regulations and maintain internal controls.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management roles within manufacturing.

• Proficiency in month-end close processes and cost/ inventory accounting.

• Strong skills in account and ledger reconciliations.

• Experience in preparing journal entries and financial statements.

• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls.

• Ability to conduct variance analysis and develop accurate budgets and forecasts.

• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

• Advanced knowledge of financial systems and tools.
