Description We are looking for a dedicated Tax Manager to join our team in Midlothian, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to lead tax preparation and review processes for individual and business clients while driving innovation in workflow management and client advisory services. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in tax planning and compliance, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and review of individual and business tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Oversee workflow processes and provide effective management of staff, promoting efficiency and productivity.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance and solutions tailored to their tax-related needs.

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize outcomes for clients.

• Lead initiatives to enhance internal policies, procedures, and workpaper systems, driving innovation and improvement.

• Communicate effectively with team members and clients, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.

• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed advice.

• Utilize tax software such as CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax to streamline processes.

• Review annual income tax provisions and corporate tax returns with precision and attention to detail. Requirements • Proven experience in individual and business tax preparation and review.

• Demonstrated ability to manage workflows and lead a team effectively.

• Strong client service skills with a focus on providing advisory support.

• Expertise in tax planning strategies and implementation.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Familiarity with tax software, including CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax.

• Knowledge of corporate and income tax return processes.

• Commitment to staying current with tax laws and industry best practices.
