Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. In this contract position, you will play a key role in supporting HR operations, ensuring smooth onboarding processes, and maintaining employee-related records. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team in the museum and art gallery industry.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and execute onboarding activities to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
• Maintain and update employee records within the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) accurately.
• Assist in administering background checks and processing pre-employment documentation.
• Support employee relations by addressing inquiries and providing timely resolutions.
• Facilitate day-to-day HR administrative tasks, such as managing correspondence and scheduling.
• Collaborate with HR team members to improve workflows and ensure compliance with policies.
• Generate reports and analyze data from HRIS to support decision-making processes.
• Organize and maintain HR documentation to ensure accessibility and compliance.
• Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.

Requirements • Proven experience in Human Resources administration or a related field.
• Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and basic database management.
• Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and pre-employment requirements.
• Understanding of employee relations and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
• Proficiency in conducting background checks and maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
