Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning and analysis (FP& A) across the organization. This position is responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, as well as delivering insights through financial modeling, reporting, and performance analysis. The role also contributes to financial systems management, process optimization, and integration initiatives. This is a hybrid role in the east metro of the Twin Cities.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Analyze complex financial data to identify trends and develop models that support strategic and operational decision-making.
+ Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reporting packages for senior leadership and stakeholders.
+ Manage and support the full financial planning cycle, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
+ Coordinate planning activities and deliverables in collaboration with internal finance teams and business partners.
+ Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and standardized reporting tools to enhance business insight.
+ Act as a subject matter expert for financial planning systems and business intelligence tools.
+ Partner with financial systems teams to improve data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and system functionality.
+ Champion continuous improvement efforts to enhance forecasting accuracy and streamline processes.
+ Lead or support system implementation and upgrade projects, including end-user training.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
+ 6+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role.
+ Demonstrated success in a corporate FP& A function.
+ Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
+ Proficiency with financial planning systems and business intelligence tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in a relevant field.
+ CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification.
+ Experience leading system or process improvement initiatives.
