We’re expanding and looking for a Shipping Coordinator who is eager to take charge of the final, crucial steps in our production journey by working with various alloys and ensuring all products leave our facility accurately and on time. If you are detail-oriented, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Working On
+ Prepare products for shipment, including labeling, documentation, and returns to stock when needed.
+ Operate marking and banding machines and perform routine equipment maintenance.
+ Accurately handle key shipping documents including MTRs, packing slips, and bill of lading.
+ Verify materials with shop routers; Ensure proper sign-off on the router before shipping.
+ Safely load and unload products onto trucks for on-time deliveries.
+ Coordinate with truck drivers and external services.
+ Address shipping exceptions, report issues to the Supervisor, and support corrective actions.
+ Follow all company safety and emergency procedures and complete all tasks with focus and pride.
Key Qualifications & Experience
+ Must-have: Experience operating lift trucks, and familiarity with the shipping process.
+ Proficiency in using hand power tools, such as nail guns and grinders.
+ U.S. Citizenship is required.
+ Spanish language skills are a plus!
+ Ability to safely handle and move heavy materials (up to 100 pounds).
Education
+ High School diploma or GED (equivalent training/experience may be considered).
