The Technology Release Delivery role is a key leadership position responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end delivery of technology products and releases across multiple, cross-functional teams. This individual ensures adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and champions change management initiatives, facilitating the successful adoption of Enterprise Change Management (ECM/TCM) practices throughout the organization. By leveraging a modern engineering mindset, this role focuses on enabling timely and automated deployment of both hardware and software solutions. The Technology Release Delivery Lead acts as a central coordinator—fostering collaboration, removing impediments, and aligning cross-team objectives—while serving as a coach and mentor to drive high performance, continuous improvement, and agile best practices.
Working closely with product management, this leader is instrumental in delivering customer-centric products. They act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, aligning expectations and ensuring seamless execution of release strategies. The role requires overseeing and facilitating key Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies, maintaining product release calendars, coordinating integrated testing efforts, and managing dependencies using appropriate tools. The ideal candidate brings a strategic vision to optimize delivery performance, a commitment to quality standards, and the ability to drive organizational success through strong leadership and effective communication. This role is pivotal in championing an agile work environment and supporting the behaviors needed for a thriving product operating model.
In this role, you will:
+ Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning and related Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies to support alignment and transparency across teams
+ Lead Inspect & Adapt workshops and retrospectives to encourage continuous improvement
+ Support PI execution by monitoring and communicating progress, dependencies, and risks
+ Execute product roadmap activities to maintain alignment of epics, features, and stories, and track progress using Jira
+ Maintain the product release calendar and coordinate integrated release readiness, ensuring all relevant plans and documentation are completed
+ Provide status updates on releases and facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and closure of incidents
+ Coordinate regression testing and volume/load testing efforts, serving as a testing point of contact when appropriate
+ Manage feature and release dependencies with dependency management tools and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
+ Escalate and monitor impediments, providing assistance in resolving them as needed
+ Inform product teams about policy and standard updates, ensuring compliance and risk awareness
+ Track and report on delivery metrics (e.g., Product Delivery, DORA, SDLC hygiene), and develop strategies to improve delivery processes
+ Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks and issues that could affect delivery timelines or quality
+ Provide coaching to teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices and scaling principles to enhance Agile maturity
+ Serve as a liaison between product management, engineering, and business stakeholders for alignment on priorities and expectations
+ Promote collaboration between teams and system-level stakeholders
+ Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment regarding features and priorities
Required Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 5+ years of Agile or product management experience
