Responsibilities Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes assignments, explains polices and procedures and reviews work. Opens and/or closes facilities by locking/unlocking doors and windows, and assuring security system is operable. Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users. Collects applicable fees for items issued. Arranges furniture and equipment for events. Operates equipment and performs maintenance on facilities and equipment. Policies interior and exterior areas of building and grounds and performs general housekeeping to make areas ready for use. Prepares requirement lists for supplies and equipment due to demand or need for replacement items. Monitors inventories and number and condition of items on hand. Coordinates with program staff to ensure adequate equipment is available in sufficient time to conduct program activities. Conducts surveillance of total facility Inspects equipment when turned in and collects pre-set fees for damages. Tests mechanical equipment for serviceability after each use. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Demonstrated ability to performs the duties described above. Must have and retain a valid drivers license. Experience must be listed on your resume to receive consideration. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
