We are seeking an Accounting Manager to play a critical role in supporting our client’s month-end close process, ensuring GAAP compliance, performing general accounting duties, and preparing timely and accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and open to being onsite 5 days/week.

+ Lead and support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis

+ Ensure all accounting activities comply with U. . GAAP and internal policies

+ Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with a high degree of accuracy

+ Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various business units and provide ad hoc financial support

+ Assist with audit preparation and documentation as needed

+ Provide accounting support during system transitions, process improvements, or internal projects

+ Utilize NetSuite ERP system for transaction processing, reporting, and data integrity

+ Oversee Staff and senior Accountants, report to the CFO

+ Client is private but has reporting requirements to overseas parent company

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-track preferred

+ 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and financial reporting

+ Strong understanding of U. . GAAP and internal controls

+ Proven experience with NetSuite highly preferred

+ Proven ability to lead a team, manage deadlines and produce month-end close deliverables.

+ Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Ability to be onsite 5 days/week in San Jose, CA and during one weekend a month for month end close

+ Fully onsite, 5 days/week in San Jose, CA PLUS one weekend a month for month end close

+ Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.

+ Pay Range: $60-75/hr (DOE)
