Position Summary
+ Guides interdisciplinary analytic processes to identify analyze and report on population health, health equity, and provider performance reports and quality improvement queries, measures and performance to goals. .
+ Leads strategic market population health analyses and workgroups to analyze and guide population program evaluation, interventions and establish measures and monitors
+ Conducts regular population health segmentation analytics in accordance with program and accreditation requirements.
+ Delivers analytic and data science products including business intelligence, analytics and predictive modeling – related to clinical outcomes, clinical quality, cost of care, in collaboration with cross-functional national teams.
+ Conducts population assessments for improving quality gap closure, total cost of care and effectiveness of the health care ecosystem
+ Synthesizes and visually displays multiple sources of market level data to drive analytics and population health metrics for program oversight.
+ Presents findings and recommendations from population health outcomes to varied workgroups and leadership audiences.
+ Oversees all aspects of data and system-based execution for HEDIS MRR and YRMRR projects; analyzes and communicates outcomes
Required Qualifications:
+ Strong technical skills necessary to perform advanced analytics: coding (e.g., R, Python, Scala), experience with data management and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Looker, Metabase, open source platforms), and experience performing predictive and AI analysis with large datasets
+ 5-8 years experience with clinical and/or claims data, especially government programs administrative data
+ Proven organizational and leadership skills
+ Excellent written, oral and presentation based communication skills. Demonstrated willingness to collaborate with stakeholders to shape the analysis plan and deliver and interpret results or models
+ Strong foundation in probability & statistics, demonstrated expertise with ML tools, SQL, Python, and statistical & ML packages
+ Experience leading and empower teams via mentorship, coaching, synchronous & asynchronous goal review, and leading by empathy and example
Preferred Qualifications
+ Doctoral level education in statistics, population studies, data management, or equivalent
+ Quality, PMP or similar certification
Education
Masters level preparation in population / statistical analysis, database management, systems and coding.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
