Our Company

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

+ Receive and process returned medications from long-term care facilities

+ Inspect returned drugs for compliance with state and federal regulations

+ Document and categorize returns

+ Prepare documentation for credits and coordinate with billing, as needed

+ Safely dispose of or prepare medications for restocking following proper procedures

+ Maintain accurate records of all returned items and actions taken

+ Ensure proper handling of controlled substances in compliance with DEA regulations

+ Collaborate with pharmacists and other technicians to support workflow and compliance

+ Maintain a clean and organized returns area

+ Assist with inventory management and audits as necessary

+ Follow all company, state, and federal safety and compliance guidelines

Qualifications

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required

+ Previous pharmacy experience preferred

+ Previous data entry experience preferred

+ Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned

+ Good organizational skills and detail oriented

+ Ability to physically perform light lifting
