Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Description

Join our team as an Accounting Manager where you will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy across various accounting functions. You will be responsible for matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents, investigating and resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal departments, and assisting with expense report reconciliation while ensuring proper documentation.

Responsibilities

+ Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.

+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.

+ Assist with expense report reconciliation and ensure proper documentation.

+ Generate and send customer invoices using appropriate pricing.

+ Apply customer payments (checks, credit cards, ACH, wires) and reconcile daily receipts.

+ Monitor and follow up on past-due accounts through calls and emails.

+ Support month-end closing activities across accounting modules.

+ Assist with commission calculations and ensure accurate assignments.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of accounting experience.

+ Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and general ledger management.

+ Experience with invoice processing and month-end closing activities.

+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

+ Understanding of AR/AP, bank reconciliations, invoicing, bookkeeping, payroll, and collection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Diploma in accounting-related field.

+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Comfortable using ERP systems.

+ Knowledge of payroll processes is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
