    Job Title: Accounting Assistant

    Job Description

    We are seeking an entry-level Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Enter invoices and perform various accounting support tasks, equally divided.

    + Assist with data entry and processing of invoices.

    + Support accounts payable and receivable functions.

    + Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.

    + Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

    + Assist with month-end close activities.

    + Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.

    Essential Skills

    + 1–2 years of experience in accounting or administrative roles.

    + Understanding of accounting principles.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Strong communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).

    Work Environment

    This position offers a hybrid work environment. Candidates will work 3 days in South SF or Eastbay during the training period. The opportunity may extend or convert based on budget and business needs for 2026.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
