Job Description
Pep Band Music Coach - Part-time (10 hours/week), Seasonal (6 months)
The Boston College Bands Program seeks a **part-time Pep Band Music Coach** to provide instruction and support for the Boston College Pep Band. Applicants should have extensive experience instructing students in college ensembles.
Applicants must be available to consult with the Marching Band Director to understand and incorporate the same musical technique and standards within the Pep Band. In addition to attending and providing musical leadership at designated men’s and women’s basketball and hockey games, applicants must be available for potential post-season tournament travel.
Each staff member in the Division of Student Affairs is expected to support division and university-wide initiatives, staff events, and serve on committees as needed.
Salary: $9,205.00
Requirements
+ A master’s degree in music or music education is preferred.
+ Applicants should have extensive experience instructing students in college ensembles.
+ Must be available for Winter Sports Season (October through April)
+ Must attend all rehearsals and performances
+ Must be available for post-season tournament travel
