Job Description
Directs the activities of multiple communications strategy teams and associated staff across all customer-facing digital channels managed by Marketing & Communications on behalf of the enterprise, including but not limited to websites, editorial platforms, apps, email, social media, and external listings. Responsible for developing, advocating for and directing the implementation of a holistic customer communications journey across all owned touchpoints, as well as the channel-specific goals that support that seamless experience; leads overall customer engagement program. Develops and implements strategic approaches to vendor and resource utilization to maximize the efficacy of all channels. Ensures that Northwell's digital ecosystem is aligned with the needs of the business; actively monitors channel performance.
Job Responsibility
Leads the Digital Channel Strategy group by communication with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for the customer communications journey across all all customer-facing digital channels, and the roles each channel plays in supporting that vision.
Supports the leadership in the development, communication, and execution of the department's strategy and objectives; ensures strategic alignment across departmental projects.
Provides analytics and logistics support, as necessary, to further the goals of marketing and communications; facilitates cross functional working groups to resolve Department or organization marketing and communications related challenges.
Leads execution of department strategy; performs project planning and management for the department; consults with designated project leads on project management methods and updates.
Leads process improvement for the department; identifies areas of opportunity to gain efficiency, improve quality or reduce cost; coordinates department responses to corporate surveys, data calls, studies, and requests.
Sets the priorities and devises and leads complex projects, based on strategic intent and change-management considerations; delivers best practices for use across department and organization areas; utilizes metrics and data to anticipate and educate others on customer needs.
Develops and maintains professional relationships with organization leadership; collaborates with peers on system-wide initiatives on behalf of the leadership.
Builds and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and vendor work relationships to optimize operations; evaluates and implements new technologies, methods, processes and procedures to support short and long term department goals.
Manages resources including operating budget, vendors, and facilities.
Ensures stakeholder alignment, effective partnership, and role clarity within the department.
Selects, develops, manages, and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection, development, management, and evaluation of indirect reports.

Job Qualification
Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
The salary range for this position is $112,800-$197,200/year
