Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Manager Facilities Engineering 2 to join our diverse team in the Aerostructures business unit. The successful applicant will oversee the management of facilities maintenance at our site, ensuring efficient preventative maintenance, operations, safety, and compliance. The position Maintenance Engineering Manager will be based out of Iuka, MS.
Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Manage daily facility engineering maintenance operations including but not limited to Mean Time to Failure, Mean Time to Repair, and Preventative Maintenance.
+ Develop and manage facility operating budgets, cost pools, and staffing.
+ Establish and maintain service level agreements; manage and report on preventative maintenance, temperature and humidity specifications, and operations of all buildings and equipment.
+ Partners with campus facility management, senior management, and business development leadership to plan site requirements.
+ Collaborate with Facility Engineering, Planning, and Business Management teams to prioritize future facility and user projects for capital and indirect inputs.
+ Coordinate with facilities site manager on indirect reviews and annual project budget distributions.
+ Work with facility engineering teams to execute projects and complete operatorial readiness inspections (ORI).
+ Present building modification options to management with recommendations for alternatives.
+ Coordinate staff duties, responsibilities, and projects through regular meetings.
+ Support technical design reviews and facilitate vendor support to ensure long-term maintainability and common equipment recommendations.
+ Prepare and present status reports to management and site management.
+ Ensure facility appearance, infrastructure operation, site safety, and compliance with EH&S and OSHA regulations.
+ Maintain a robust preventive maintenance program using the existing Work Order System and metrics and manage vendor purchase orders.
+ Aim for minimal operational interruptions, targeting zero downtime.
+ Ensure compliance with sector space utilization policies and collaborate with support teams on metric development.
+ Assist with business resumption and emergency preparedness initiatives.
+ Work in conjunction with manufacturing teams ME, M&P, Operations, IE, and other functions to prevent miscommunication and enhance program performance.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of facilities-related experience; or a Master’s degree and 4 years of experience; or 8 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
+ Proven experience leading or managing teams/projects, including goal setting and performance reviews.
+ Knowledge of facilities infrastructure, equipment redundancies, electrical and mechanical systems, and basic code requirements.
+ Experience in vendor negotiations, facility consolidations, and relevant construction projects.
+ Familiarity with accounting and budgeting practices.
+ Experience briefing senior management and executive leadership.
+ Proven ability to achieve organizational objectives and metrics.
+ Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
+ US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in MEP Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Management, or Organizational Leadership.
+ 4-8 years of Facilities Project Management experience.
+ Experience managing facilities in a manufacturing production environment.
+ Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems.
+ Experience with Maximo software.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Salary Range: $116,300.00 - $174,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
