• District Painter (Per Diem) 2025/26

    East Irondequoit Central School District (Irondequoit, NY)


    The East Irondequoit Central School District is looking for a Per Diem Painter.

     

    Hours are flexible and may include evenings and weekends.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks.

    + Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

    + Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

    + Collaborate with maintenance staff to prioritize painting needs across the district.

    + Assist with touch-ups, graffiti removal, and seasonal refresh projects.

    + Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.

    Job Qualifications

    High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Valid Driver's License

    + Previous painting experience preferred (residential, commercial, or institutional).

    + Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    + Physical ability to lift, climb ladders, and perform repetitive tasks.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
