Position Description:
The Associate - QA Representative - 3PL Warehouse will report to the Associate Director - Regional Logistics QA. The Associate - QA Representative - 3PL Warehouse provides oversight of operations and directly manages quality functions, provides assistance and guidance to QA technicians and will advise on issues such as deviation investigations, CARTS, procedures, material damages and receipt issues with a focus on Warehouse operations. This person will also support Quality activities within Warehouse operations, including goods receipt, sampling, utilizing SAP and LIMS. Persons must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds.
Key Objectives/Deliverables/Responsibilities:
+ Practices safe behaviors with proper PPE and lifting techniques. Supports all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
+ Responsible for supporting QA Technicians at the warehouse.
+ Ability to assess and triage deviations / CARTS that occur within the warehouse area.
+ Work with Lilly manufacturing sites and external partners for issue resolution or provide advice on receiving or shipping issues.
+ Lead GEMBAs and provide support during internal / external regulatory inspections and audits.
+ Oversight of 3PL warehouse functions to ensure compliance to SOPs and Regulations.
+ Ensuring materials not meeting specifications are quarantined, per local procedures.
+ Evaluating damaged materials found on inbound shipments or within the warehouse are quarantine as appropriate.
+ Evaluating temperature excursions on shipments received at the warehouse and perform TOR adjustments for chilled materials.
+ Identifies and assists in resolving issues on shipments (i.e. Incorrect quantity, product, or contamination, etc.).
+ Performs appropriate transactions in SAP to ensure system represents appropriate status of material (QI, blocked, scrapped, etc.)
+ Initiates CARTS to supplier for materials and manages the CARTS process for the 3PL warehouse.
+ Investigates deviations resulting from QA activities occurring at the 3PL.
+ Authors/revises SOPs as needed.
+ Additional duties as required.
Basic Requirements
+ BA/BS degree in the sciences required.
+ 2 years QA experience
Additional Preferences
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Demonstrated understanding of cGMP regulations related to Incoming QA and Warehouse applications.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Proficient in computer system applications.
+ Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, highly flexible and able to work independently in fast paced environment to support production demands.
+ Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
+ Highly motivated, enthusiastic, share ideas and lead solutions effectively to resolution; ensure safety of others.
+ Previous facility or area start up experience.
+ Previous experience in GMP production and warehouse environments.
+ Experience in inventory management systems (EWM, SAP, etc.)
+ Experience using Veeva
Additional Information:
+ Ability to work 8 hour days – Sunday through Thursday.
+ Ability to work overtime as required.
+ This role will be permanently located in Salisbury NC.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$63,000 - $162,800
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
