This part-time, remote RN Clinical Auditor position is designed for a self-motivated Registered Nurse with strong technical skills. The role focuses on auditing and analyzing clinical documentation to ensure high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. The Clinical Auditor will review patient records, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to implement improvements, maintaining consistent communication with the hospice team.
Key Responsibilities
+ Review patient medical records, including clinical notes, assessments, plans of care, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with hospice and regulatory standards.
+ Assess the completeness and quality of clinical documentation and adherence to hospice care policies and procedures.
+ Stay current with federal and state regulations to ensure hospice program compliance.
+ Provide feedback and reports to clinical and administrative teams on chart deficiencies, offering guidance for improvements.
+ Support preparation for external audits by ensuring records are complete, accurate, and compliant.
+ Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance chart accuracy and compliance.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate documentation risks.
+ Analyze data related to patient outcomes and clinical performance to assess healthcare service effectiveness.
+ Support the use of vendor-specific software products used within the hospice.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
+ Proven experience in healthcare chart auditing or quality assurance.

The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. The pay range for this role in the state of Colorado typically falls between $36 - $50 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and location within the state.
