Job Title: Principal Engineer

Job Description

As a Principal Engineer specializing in Magnetic Sensors, you will identify new technologies to develop innovative products by collaborating with suppliers and customers. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert on magnetics-based sensors, addressing complex issues with a variety of engineering tools. Your role involves understanding the competitive landscape to provide creative solutions, contributing technical expertise to DFMEA, and developing strategies and test plans (DVP&R) to validate product performance.

Responsibilities

+ Identify and deploy new technologies in product development.

+ Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for magnetics-based sensors.

+ Resolve complex engineering problems using various tools.

+ Understand competitive landscape and products.

+ Provide technical expertise into DFMEA.

+ Develop and contribute to strategies and test plans (DVP&R).

+ Perform Design of Experiments and analyze test results using statistical methods.

+ Provide technical monitoring and guidance to other engineers.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

+ Deep understanding of magnetic-based sensors and their market.

+ 5+ years of industry experience in designing magnetics-based sensors.

+ Experience in working with customers on sensor technical requirements and applications.

+ Experience with hardware validation.

+ Experience with sensor calibration, manufacturing processes, engineering processes/tools, and materials.

+ Knowledge of electronic components and supply base for magnetic-based sensors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with simulation tools.

+ Familiarity with EMC Testing requirements.

The pay range for this position is $175000.00 - $185000.00/yr.
